"Armonas-Uss duo is a highly professional duo. Subtle and harmonious, their performances always demonstrate musical sophistication and culture, and an elegant and reserved manner of interpretation. In this regard, cello player Rimantas Armonas is a true mouthpiece of northern mentality. The fine tembre of his cello is never just a subject of enjoyment, because he guides the audience upinto the content of the work, to the style of the epoch of the composer. And the mastery of pianist Irena Uss discreet, not purposless, is an importan factor of this beautiful duet. Both musicians always are in the maelstrom of musical life, often acting as editors and first performers of many new works." Audrone Ziuraityte "The musicians dont seek to display any spectacular virtuosity (though both are masters of their instruments), but stribe for a deep connection between content and mood, for innerinspiration, and for a true and warm conversation."
